Warm Wishes card
And for today I prepared two new and fresh cards for you. It’s spring here and I wanted to make something cheerful and bright. And also to use the stamps I never used before (yes, I have such stamp LOL!). And for my first card I combined Modern Deer and Birch Land stamp set. Don’t they really match perfectly?
I stamped two trunks of birches in the front panel, masked them with the masking paper and sponged over them with Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades crisp inks. Then I sprinkled with the water to add more texture and stamped the leaves for birches with the same green inks. Also I applied the sun rays mask with green and white inks to add more depth to my card.
The last step was to make the deer and place it to this serene picture. I used misti-tool to stamp the deer because I used three different colors and needed to stamp the same image the same place three times. The Crisp inks I used here from the lightest to the darkest are: Peach Perfect, Paper Bag and Dark Chocolate. For the last two colors — I didn’t ink the stamp with them, just added some shadows to the stamp with the distress applicator. This way the deer looks more realistic.
You are awesome card
My second card for today highlights Painted Jellyfish stamp set. Really like it! And I wanted to used some unusual colors for it. I chose pink)) The jellyfishes are stamped with really many inks, here they are: Evening Gray, Frosty Pink, Cotton Candy, Coral Berry and Ruby Red.
For the background I sponged with Cotton Candy Crisp inks over sun rays stencil. But it turned out too dark for such soft jellyfishes… So I covered the rays with the vellum with tiny white dots and added some sequin. Now it looks perfect!
And also I want to add some cards I made for Altenew last years. Your next stop is WOW! Embossing Powder blog! Thank you very much for stopping by and leaving the comments! Have a great blog hop, good luck!
