Hello! Welcome to My Favorite Things July Release Countdown! All of the new products will be available July 11th at 9:00pm EST. Please note, that all links for the new supplies will not be active till that moment. And for today I have another two cards for you. I made them for free PDF-class that will be available to you very soon! There you can find the tips how to make such cards. And this is really not very difficult!
For both these cards I made the accent on the new Fringed Scallop Borders and Celebrate die-namics. To make ombre backgrounds using fringe dies — is an easy way to make showy card! You can use some colors of card stock. For the first card I used next ones: Smooth White, Stone Gray, Cement Gray, Gravel Gray, Black Licorice and Electric Red Card Stock for the sentiment die cut.
To adhere the sentiment I used Large Adhesive Dots — I cut them into several strips and used on the wide parts of die cut word.
Another way to make ombre is to use ink blending! It’s a good way if you have no to many colors of the card stock. But it still looks amazing! Isn’t it? Here I again use the same Fringed Scallop Borders and Celebrate die-namics. For this card I used next MFT dye inks: Green-Eyed Monster, Sour Apple, Sunshine, Orange Fizz. To make water spot for adding more texture to the backgrouns I used one of my favorite tools — Tim Holtz Distress Sprayer.
Have good day!
