Hello! Today we have new sketch on MFT Challenge blog for the next week. I really liked this sketch and repeated it on my card just with the minor addition. And I made it all green!))
The background was made with Flashy Florals stamp set and multi layered resist effect technique. My heat gun doesn’t want to work well so such backgrounds usually take two days I make them ;( So this is the reason I don’t make them often. This technique is pretty easy. You start with heat embossing the stamps on the white card stock with the clear powder. Then sponge the entire background with the first layer of the inks (I used Limeade Hybrid Ink Pad). Let it dry and then repeat again — clear embossing + ink blending + drying. Repeat as many times as you want!
The result is really great! After making the panel, I die cut its right edge with Die-namics Stitched Scallop Basic Edges and adhered to the card base. Also I added a piece of Limeade Card Stock on the right and repeated with it two thin strip like on the sketch.
The final details are some clear drops and gold sequins, the sentiment from You Give Me Butterflies stamp set and the leaves with gold embossed details.
Have a good day!
