Hello friends! So excited to join to day to Simon Says Stamp‘s new STAMPtember® 2017! This is amazing two-days event — join SSS blog today and tomorrow for tons of inspiration! New products are really great and I am so happy to work with them.
‘Thank you friend’ cards
And I made three cards for this hop, two of them is a duo of cards. I make many cute or bright cards, but sometimes we really need something strict and restrained to show our attention. And these cards are all about it. I was inspired by new Damask stencil (small and elegant!). This mask is really tiny, but I like how we can build the backgrounds with it by our own way.
For the first card I used the stencil with the white pigment ink on the black card stock. I fixed the stencil with pieces of the washi tape, sponged with white inks and then fixed the stencil on the another place. Not too hard. And the sentiment is white embossed on the strip of red card stock plus some sequins as the final touches.
The second card is one-layered and very simple, but I wanted to try this ides so bad! I fixed the stencil on the card base and applied thick white glue. Then removed the stencil (very carefully!) and sprinkled everything with the gold glitter. Shake off the extra glitter when everything is dry and then added the sentiment and sequins as on the first card.

‘Kindness matters’ card
For my second card I tried to work with new embossing plate. It makes very delicate and interesting pattern, and you can also apply different techniques. I embossed with the plate and sponged the background with five ink colors (are listed at the end of the post).
Then I sprinkled with the water and adhered some sequins. The sentiment here is made of Kindness Matters die cut. Letters didn’t pour out of their places, so I used all together)
SSS dies: Kindness Matters
