Hello! Today I want to participate in Papertrey Ink’s Create Along With Us challenge. I like this time of the year, when manufactures present their new Holiday products. I like to go through my stash and find some old sets, that I like so much. And for my today’s card I was inspired by Heather Nichols cards.
I like how Heather every time plays with kraft, so I took some her ideas for my card. And here I combined three of my favorite season sets. (All of them are listed at the end of this post.) I am not a fan of traditional green and red Christmas palette, but I like how these colors together with white color work all together. Really festive look! Plus I added some textures.
I white embossed and die cut the wreath and colored it with Kuretake watercolors. Then I adhered the pack of jute threads to my wreath (I always wanted to do it but was afraid it’s hard — no))). On the scalloped rectangle I stamped the sentiment and then sticked all elements together. And added the red stamped ribbon.
I like how kraft jute twine adds the rough texture to the card. And at the end with the red marker I added some dots around the wreath — something like berries. With them it looks much more better!
Have a good day!
