I am here for you card

For today’s hop I prepared fresh spring card with lily bouquet wrapped in a kraft package. It looks elegant and soft, I even almost can hear the smell of flowers! Also, this card is very simple to make, but the result is amazing!

Altenew’s 4th Anniversary Blog Hop @akossakovskaya #cardmaking #altenew

I started with stamping the lilies from Layered Lily stamp set in soft pink colors with touches of the bright pink color. I used Red Cosmos Oval Set of Altenew’s Crisp inks and the lightest color is Cotton Candy Crisp Dye Ink. I made three lilies and many leaves. For them I used Green Fields Oval Set. I then die cut all images with the matching dies.

To make the wrapping, I used the kraft card stock. I took 3-inch wide strip of the card stock, made some score lines and fold it, after this I cut off few extra pieces. To add volume to the packaging, I curved it just a little and glued together ends. You can see it on the pictures.

For the background, I stamped with the wood grain texture stamp in Morning Frost Crisp Dye Ink and then blend with the same color over the texture. I adhered the wrapping to the panel and foam mounted lilies and leaves. You can see the depth and dimensions in the photo below.

At the end, I stamped and adhered some flowers stems. Layered Lily set has no this details, so I took it from Painted Poppy stamp set. The last detail is white heat embossed sentiment from Sentiments & Quotes stamp set on the black narrow banner and some liquid accents.

I have to admit I have never seen a card wrapped like yours before and I really like it! It reminds me of the kind we have in our supermarkets because they are wrapped like that. I love how the stems show and I love the colors of your flowers and you’re coloring. This is a card anyone would love to receive, including me.
Thank you for showing us your pretty, unusual card and for giving us the chance to win something.
