Hello friends! Today I want to share the one-layer card with pencils coloring. Last weeks, I wanted to try the coloring on the dark background, but I had no the media that can do it. But few days ago I did visit the local book store after all and bought the watercolor pencils. All products are listed on this post with the affiliate links (which means if you make a purchase I will get a small commission with no additional cost for you).
I was inspired by Atenew’s April inspiration challenge and I also want to join SSS Work It Wednesday challenge with my mom themed card. After leaving two my teams I finally have the time to play with all the stamp sets I have and that were not used yet or I used them only one time. And this is the dozens of stamps! One of them is Magnolias For Her stamp set by Altenew.
Step by Step How To:
- On the front panel of the black card stock, stamp some flowers and leaves in white ink. I used paper masks to cover some elements and stamp the ones on the back.
- With watercolor pencils color all elements of the cards. It took forever to color this panel! Now I really miss my Copics LOL! I used three shades of each color plus white pencils.
- White heat emboss the sentiment on the panel.
- Adhere the panel to the card base and add some matching enamel dots.
Have a good day!
