Welcome to Studio Katia 2nd Anniversary Blog Hop, friends! So excited to see you here! I was on the design team year ago and really happy to be back for one day and to see all changes that come with this brand! And today I have three cards for you and also a process video in the end of this post!
To celebrate Studio Katia is giving away TWO $100 CAD Gift Certificates every day of the Blog Hop! That’s FOUR chances to win. The winners will be chosen randomly from comments left on ALL blogs of our Blog Hop.
Here you can see three my cards. I was so inspired by new Brush Stroke Waves stencil, so I made THREE cards! yes, they all are very simple, but I like how interesting they look when I added different details to each of them.
The first one is very simple — I applied some inks through the stencil and then blended gently over the stripes with the same ink colors. After this I white heat embossed the sentiment from Birthday Greetings stamp set on the white vellum and adhered it to the card. I used March Crystals and Blue Sky Fusion to add some final accents.
For the next card, I played a little with the stencil. I applies few ink colors through it, but blended only one part of the card base. After this, I rotated the stencil and applied inks again. I repeated this step few times. I like how dreamy it looks! I then sprinkled the striped with the water and added the white heat embossed on the blue banner sentiment from Birthday Greetings stamp set. And I used the same March Crystals and Blue Sky Fusion sequins to decorate my card.
The last card is my favorite. Only because I am a huge fan of the bold black and white stripes against the flowers! I stamped the part of the bouquet from Lovely Blooms stamp set, colored it with Copic markers and fussy cut it. I foam mounted the ready flowers to the ready black and white card panel and added the white heat embossed sentiment. I adhered few March Crystals, April Crystals and May Crystals.
And here is the video process for ALL three cards in one video!
