The postal services were against me, I’ve got my package less than 20 hours before the blog hop! Plus the five month old baby on board… So I hadn’t the chance to make as many cards as I wanted. But! I prepared very interesting idea for you!! I hope you will like it.
One day one lady showed me the picture with the borderless shaker ans asked me how to make it. I was very surprised because I’ve never seen such things before. It was months ago and all this time I thought about that shaker. And yesterday I’ve had the idea how to realize it! It was like a flash in my mind and I am very glad I had the materials for it in my house.
I used new PPP Geraniums stamp set — love the simplicity of the silhouettes — the bouquets look very gentle! I stamped few in the black ink and colored with Copic markers. I used numbers B000, B02, B05 for flowers and YG11, YG06, YG09 for leaves. I then die cut them with the matching dies.
I then prepared the front panel of my card. It is also the shaker’s background. I white heat embossed the sentiment from new Simple Sayings: Miss You stamp set. I then stamped it in the green ink with the small shift. I blended the panel with three shades of green Distress ink and sprinkled it with the water. All part of my card are ready. Only need to make the main thing.
I found a large 0.5mm width clear plastic sheet and used it to make the shaker. It is very heavy — enough to make the low sides that will keep the clear front panel and shaker’s fillings. I cut off 4.25×5.5 inches panel and 3 mm width four sides. I adhered them all together with Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue. Now it looks like very flat clear bow. Totally what I need!
I adhered the green panel with the sentiment to the card base, and put some sequins and beads on it. I used: Aquamarine Seed Beads, Pewter Seed Beads, 10MM Sparkling Clear Sequins, 4MM Sparkling Clear Sequins, 6mm Peridot Mist Sequins, 6mm Bermuda Blue Sequins. I then adhered my clear box to the card again using Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue. And adhered with the flat double-sided and foam tape my flowers and leaves from Geraniums stamp set.
I hope you like my card! Have a great day!
