SSS You Are Loved Release Blog Hop Details — Day 1

Hello friends! So excited to see you here on Simon Says Stamp You Are Loved Release blog hop! Today is the first day of the event, return tomorrow to see more artists and their creations! Simon has a gift for you — use LVE584 code when purchase to get a free Tim Holtz Festive Berries Distress Oxide Ink Pad (while supplies last!) The code will expire Sunday, 1/13 at 11:59 pm EST.

Also, they’re giving away a $25 coupon to every stop on the hop from blog comment section. The winners will be chosen over the weekend and post on Simon Says Stamp store blog on Wednesday, the 16th of January.

I was so excited to get the mail with this release goodies. They are so amazing, I made three cards! I could do more if I had time LOL. My absolute favourites are Damask background stamp and Outline Clustered Leaves Wafer Die! SO I used them everywhere haha!

On the first card, I blended the background with the emerald green ink color and the stamped with Damask background stamp in dark grey ink over it. I like this luxury look! I then die cut the leaves with Outline Clustered Leaves Wafer Die of the ready front panel and removed it with the white die cut. To highlight the leaves, I put a piece of the black card stock under it.

The sentiment from SSS Vacation Time stamp set is white heat embossed on the narrow strip with the matching to the background color. And some sequins as the final touch.

Next card is very soft and delicate, I used the same die and background stamp here, but used light colors. I took the light blue for the background and added a layer die cut of the white vellum (I used the old Clustered Leaves Wafer Die).

The sentiment from Your Greatest Dreams stamp set is stamped on the piece of the light blue card stock and foam mounted over the leaves to add more dimensions.

And for my last card, I again used Damask background stamp in the blue color, but this time, I added the large HI letters I die cut with Altenew Caps Bold Alphabet die of the blue card stock. The sentiment here is also from Your Greatest Dreams stamp set. The last accents are some white sequins and clear droplets of different size.

Using the vellum really added so much to the card. The Damask background used on all of your cards showed so many ways to use the one background stamp and end up with very different, yet very pretty, cards. Thank you.
