Altenew Artist Markers Set D Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello dear friend! Welcome to Altenew Artist Markers Set D Release Blog Hop! I am so very glad to join this hop and to play with the Altenew’s markers. It is my first experience with this product and I am so excited about it! You came here from TaeEun Yoo‘s blog and now it’s my turn to share with you my projects.

Prizes:

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by 2/13/2019 for a chance to win. Six winners will be announced on the Altenew blogs on 2/16/2019.

Plus! There will be one lucky winner picked from comments to this post — this person will get a $30 gift certificate.

As I told already, it was my first time with Altenew’s markers. I like their shape and nib — really comfortable to color! The colors are juicy and bright and blend together very well. Here are three my one-layered cards (last time I am a great fan of this design). One idea, one layout, one technique and products. Three different looks.

For all of these cards I started with stamping the flowers from Persian Motifs Stamp Set in the black ink on the white card stock. I then colored all the flowers and next step is to cover all images with the masks. I die cut them of the masking paper using matching Persian Motifs Die Set. After this, I blended the entire panel background with the inks and then removed the masks. The last step is to add some details.

The first card is the brown one. I used markers number Y911, Y821 and Y932 from Artist Markers Set D to color the flowers. And numbers Y821, Y931, Y762 for stems and leaves. As you can see, it adds very interesting gradient effect, the flowers really look better.

For this card, I die cut HI letters with Caps Bold Alphabet Die Set of the ready background, adhered the front panel to the card base and then added some layers under my letters, but I used dark brown card stock for them.

The background is blended with Dark Chocolate Crisp Dye Ink. The sentiment from Sentiments & Quotes Stamp Set is white heat embossed on the dark brown narrow banner and foam mounted to the card. Also, I added some sequins as final touches.

For my turquoise card, I used markers number B802, B714, B815 from Artist Markers Set D to color the flowers. And numbers B714, B815, B635 for stems and leaves. For the background blending I used two darkest colors from Sea Shore Mini Cube Set, and the sentiment is the stamped and die cut SMILE word from Halftone Smile Stamp & Die Bundle.

I foam mounted SMILE word and added turquoise narrow banner with the white heat embossed sentiment from the same Halftone Smile Stamp & Die Bundle. The last detail is some sequins and crystals.

And my last card is made using markers number R601, R603, R614 from Artist Markers Set D for the flowers coloring. And numbers R603, R614, R437 were used for stems and leaves.

The background is blended with Cherry Blossom Mini Cube Set. The sentiment here is die cut with the die from Halftone Happy Stamp & Die Bundle, the additional sentiment is from this set too. I foam mounted HAPPY word and added some sequins.

I hope you liked my cards! Please leave me some words and you will get the chance to win the prize!

I love the stamp set you used to showcase these markers. Your coloring and blending is fabulous. I am so glad they made these markers in three Color families so it is so easy to blend. I love how you used each color family to showcase these markers.

Anna I love the way you’ve done each of your three cards using just the four colours of each in the set. Isn’t is super that Altenew has inks to match their markers? I am drawn to the one in the brown tones. You demonstrate the blendability of these markers so well.
    Thanks!
